About this Custom Number paint

On April 12th, 2020, the motorsport world lost a true hero. Sir Stirling Moss. At age 90, Moss was a regular in the Formula One Paddock - and by many was regarded the best Formula One Driver of all time to never win a Formula One World Championship. In his 14 year career, spanning a wide variety of different categories, (including rallying, F1 and endurnace racing) Moss would win 212 of the 529 races he entered, 16 Formula One Wins being among these. Outside of Formula One, Moss was also largely present in the endurance racing scene, finishing 2nd in the 1953 Le Mans 24 Hours, before having a class win (2nd overall) in 1956. Moss would also compete in the Sebring 12 Hours on several occasions, finishing on the podium in 1954 and 1957. The highlight of Moss Career however, was the 1955 Mille Miglia - a 992 Mile race on public Italian roads. Moss and his navigator Denis Jenkinson would race in the Mercedes 300 SLR. Each car number was allocated start time - In Moss case itd be 7:22am - unbeknown to them, this would soon become one of motorsports most memorable numbers. Also in this race was Formula Ones first female racing driver Maria Teresa De Filippis and Wolfgang Von Tripps - who also competed in F1. The duo would iconically win the race, 32 minutes ahead of second place - Juan Manuel Fangio, who was also a Formula One Great. The pace-notes that Jenkinson are still used in rallying today. Rest In Peace Stirling. ~
