NASCAR Legends Chevrolet Monte Carlo - 1987 by Josh CadeJosh Cade Pro

About this paint

Tim Richmond’s 1987 #25 Folgers Coffee Machine Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS for Hendrick Motorsports. After winning seven races in 1986, Richmond looked to be a Winston Cup Championship contender in 1987 but missed most of the season with illness. This car is based on Tim’s first race back at Pocono on June 14, 1987 (the car changed decals and small details almost every race). He would win at Pocono and the following week at Riverside. Two wins and a pole in eight starts. Helmet included. The artwork is vector art re-created by me. iRacing Photos (Screenshots) by @MilnerMediaAndDesign.

I raced my first Sim in highschool with Papyrus's "Indianapolis 500". In 1993, my Purdue college roommate and I connected our PC's and raced each other. I also figured out how to unpack the car files and add "Marlboro" to the cars and posted them on rec.autos.sport.indy becoming somewhat an international celebrity. Ha! I guess I've been doing this a long time. I worked for ASA Racing in the 90's and I enjoy painting throwbacks/retros from the 80's and 90's for all forms of motorsports. IndyCar, NASCAR, USAC, IMSA.
