About this paint

While I was looking for pictures of the Gold Leaf liveried Lotus 49. I came across a few with Jim Clark standing by or sitting in a Gold Leaf Lotus 49. I have since found out these pictures are actually of the Lotus 49T (a 2.5 litre version of the 49) raced at Wigram New Zealand, on 20th January 1968, where the Gold Leaf livery/sponsorship was unveiled. Wigram was the third race of the Tasman Series, and was won by Jim Clark. The 1968 Tasman Series ran from 6th January until 4th March. As with my other Gold Leaf cars this paint comes with a custom spec map; the paintwork has a high gloss with the metallic gold trim, and the decals have a less polished finish. I have updated this paint to add the holes identified in the Adrian Newey repainte and redone the screenshots to show all the updates. iRacing have updated the spec map so this car now has a matt finish. I have edited the spec map to return the gloss paintwork. I have also redone the spec map and adjusted the repaint to make use of the new features. The new effects are best seen in motion, but I have updated the bottom screenshot.
