About this paint

CREDITS--- *Ford Template - Justin Rowden* ---*Bumper creases from Tyler Dalton's Dodge Intrepid Template * This is the 2003 Championship season car driven by Matt Kenseth. Sim Stamped number great for official racing! Update 09/15/22 - New Larger headlight decals, quarter window extensions. Update 09/20/22 - Another (hopefully final!) headlight update. Just taking a while to get the look how I want. Size is about the same, but quality is a lot better. Updated 09/25/22 - Headlight update v6. Added the Taurus "Bumper crease" character lines. Added a tape texture to the front valence. Updated 10-10-22: Final update to the Taurus template. Improvements include refinished headlights (no longer has the tilted look from older versions) and tail lights - Thanks to Ken Huff for cleaning up the tail lights and extensions (where applicable!) for a much cleaner look. Updated 12-06-22: Fixed the sawblades on the sides of the car to look more accurate. Fixed the (previously too small) American Woodworker decal on the C-Pillar. Fixed the "Taurus" script on the nose being white instead of black. Updated spec map due to new iRacing spec map changes. UPDATED - 12/14/22 - Special thanks to Ken Huff for walking me through the new spec maps! This should be the final spec map update. Sorry for those who've had to keep updating their paints, but this is finally looking how I expected it should! UPDATED - 02/23/23 - Updated Pit Wagon from default to a reasonable color. Updated 10/03/23*** Multiple quality updates. UPDATED 09/04/24 - Updated due to iRacing spec map updates.

The shutdown of images from motorsport.com should serve as a wake up call to those who like to see the preservation of classic Nascar paint schemes. iRacing is a great platform to showcase those old cars and forever preserve them for people to enjoy and remember for years to come. It is only because of Winstel that I ever began painting these classic cars in the first place! Please consider donating to Winstel so that these paints will continue to be made, from the popular to the obscure! Very special thanks to those that have sponsored 2003 paints, or donated to the 2004 paint project which have now been made available to the community at large! Your support is invaluable! Paint work has begun on creating the 2005 Nextel Cup Series season! Please consider donating to Winstel (via the paypal link below) as that is the driving force behind making all of these great cars! $10 Unlocks a single car of your choice for the community, $20 unlocks a car of your choice as well as giving you personal access to all of the 2005 cars. While 2005 will be my main focus as we have ~250 cars needed for that season, I will do my best to convert all of the 2003-2004 cars to the iRacing 2003 bodies when they are released. I'd expect this to be a slow process, but it also really just depends on how well things convert. If the templates are similar then that would be great - but we just don't know yet. Special thanks to those who have donated in the past! It really helps us create these cars and put together the amazing product that we have 24 weeks out of the year! Once again thank all of you for your support! Donate to Winstel via Paypal: Lonewolf_c@yahoo.com Join the Winstel Discord and Register for the 2004 Season: https://discord.gg/zQsprgFeW5
