Lotus 49 helmet in maroon with red belts

About this paint

The drivers of the Lotus 49 along with the NASCAR Legends cars have open face helmets. The NASCAR Legends drivers' helmets are part of the car skin and can have a proper design. The Lotus 49 uses a few pixels from the helmet skin for the main colour, so unfortunately, we cannot for example have Hill's helmet design. The peak colour is fixed (black) so no Jim Clark style helmet either. When the 49 first came out, when used on lowest graphics setting the peak texture was taken from a section of the main helmet skin (I noticed this when I had part of a flame on my peak). So, it used to be possible to paint the peak, albeit only in the lowest graphics settings and only for the Lotus 49. I did do a Jimmy Clark peak in white with Firestone flags on a helmet skin that did appear on the 49 peak (see screenshot), but that has now been fixed. The studs that hold the peak and the chinstrap on also take their textures from a section of the main helmet skin (as in next screen shot, along with seatbelt colours taken from the helmet base colour not the seat belt palette). I identified where the texture for the studs was taken and put an extra layer in the template. While this cures the problem with the 49 helmet it messes up the other helmets as can be seen in the screenshot. So again, can really only be used on the 49. I found two other small problems to do with the seatbelts; first, the belt labels on the template do not appear in the game, only on the Trading Paints preview; so changing them makes no difference. Secondly the colour palette for the belts is in the wrong place. So, as well as adding the Lotus 49 helmet studs I have moved the seatbelt palette to the correct position. I did this texture using the default colours. It will appear as in the screenshots; red seatbelts in all cars and maroon helmet in the 49 and blue helmet with 2 big circles on the side in other cars (just the seatbelts in the NASCAR Legends).
