#777 Dirt Legends Ford 34 Coupe by DJ HoresDJ Hores Pro

About this Custom Number paint

1950s "Legends" paint scheme for Jack Steffen (East Liverpool, OH); photos from Debo Speedway Facebook page, web search ("Alamy"), and the East Liverpool Review. The original car, owned by Jack Triner and driven by Steffen, was a 1937 Chevy coupe with a GMC truck engine -- hence the "2 Jacks and a Gimmy" artwork above the windshield area. New to iRacing as of October 2020, old enough to remember beta-testing for "Hawaii" (Papyrus Nascar '94) via modem and painting dirt late model "skins" for the body mod of the same game. Also drove in circles for real for a decade or so. ..................... Few notes: • Currently accepting requests for recreating existing cars, but not (yet) from-scratch customs. ** Please request via Trading Paints only ** • If there is an existing and generally current version of your request on Trading Paints, I'll likely decline. Folks like Byron Morris, Jody Willard, Barry Fisher, etc., have many recreated 2022/recent cars available on Trading Paints and I'd encourage you to use their uploads. • I give priority to local (to me) drivers/cars (OH / WV / PA), which is probably fairly evident from my uploads lol. So be it. Everyone has a niche, that's mine. • Please don't copy. It's a bush-league move. If there's something you'd like to use, message me. I usually have no issue sharing, depending on the scope and frequency of the request(s).
