About this Custom Number paint

Kevin Harvick - 2001 Cracker Barrel 500 - 75 Years: The Moments Kevin Harvick took over the reins of Richard Childress’s flagship team following the death of Dale Earnhardt in 2001. The young rookie had just a single season of Busch Series racing on his resume but stunned the racing world at the 2001 Cracker Barrel 500 at Atlanta in just his third cup start. Harvick found himself behind Jerry Nadeau and Dale Jarrett in the closing laps of the race, but had the speed to compete. He passed both in a thrilling three-way duel, then had to deal with Jeff Gordon, who followed Harvick through the field to second. Gordon gained steadily on the last lap before pulling to the inside off of turn four. The two crossed the line side by side in a wild photo finish. Harvick came out the winner, with his front bumper breaking the stripe just .006 seconds ahead of Gordon’s. Many in the house were brought to tears as Harvick saluted Earnhardt during his victory celebration to cap an amazing and emotional race. This paint represents the number 29 GM Goodrwench Chevrolet as it appeared that day. The 75 Years project is a series of paints dedicated to the history of NASCAR racing.
