About this Custom Number paint

Fresh off his third Craftsman Truck Series championship in five seasons, Jack Sprague made the jump to the Busch Series in 2002. While he would pilot Rick Hendrick’s number 24 to a 5th place points finish that year, he also began preparing for a Cup Series ride with new team owner Gene Haas. Haas, a longtime associate sponsor of Hendrick Motorsports, created his own team with technical support from the aforementioned Hendrick. The team made six attempts that year driving this Chevy Monte Carlo - DNQing for three of them and failing to finish above 30th in the other three. Sprague would go full time in 2003 for the teams newly renumbered no. 0 Pontiac with sponsorship from NetZero but poor finishes would see Sprague dropped in favor of Ward Burton before the end of the season.
